Hadrian can be a bit of a hot head at times, always jumping to conclusion, he can often mistake situations and act upon instinct far more than he should. At times, he can't help it. His instinct is strong and if he has a thought or a feeling, he just acts upon it without thinking or knowing what he's doing. Hadrian has the ability to confuse himself and realise that he does sometime not know what on earth he is doing. He can be confused easily by things if it goes too quick. He's perhaps more brawn than brains at times. He carries a heavy amount of self loathing towards himself and his mixture of species, struggling to cope with the two dominant species and not feeling accepted. Hadrian has his mother's sense of determination and lack of letting go of the past. Though like the rest of the Nicu family, Hadrian has a habit of trying to always wear his heart on his sleeve and help those around him, even if his judgement of a situation is never the best.

SpeciesHadrian a is blend of the species Vampire and Werewolf. His mother from a long line of werewolves and his father a newly made vampire, he was a pleasant surprise when his mother fell pregnant. Though it appears that he has a "good" mix of both the species main traits, but werewolf is the more dominant species. As a vampire, he has to consume blood to survive but thankfully, the need is not as strong as a full vampire. He can appear in sunlight and appears to have no other traits of a vampire. As a werewolf, he has no control over his shift in the full moon unlike his mother's side of the family. But he has carried over many traits such as his predator instinct, his heightened scenes. His ability to heal and strength.
History |
FAmily HistoryHadrian is just one of the family members of the Finn family running around Monstrum. Son of the leader, Nile Nicu, Hadrian has over his time of finding comfort in the town, brought his family over to come and live within it too. Namely his cousin Halcyon that he's extremely close to. Hadrian has a good relationship with his father and his mother. But recently has had admittedly more contact with his father since they live together in the town. As much as he tries not to let it show, his parent's divorce really did hit him hard.

Since he was young, Hadrian had always struggled with who he was. His parents not expecting to even be able to conceive a child before Blair discovered she had fallen pregnant. The worry came while she carried Hadrian, that he wouldn't survive the birth, that there was even a chance that she wouldn't survive it either. They expected Hadrian to be deformed, to have some sort of health issue throughout his life, so his birth was a pleasant surprise for both mother and baby. That both were fine, unhurt and completely normal. It was clear from a young age that he had picked up vampire traits. The pale skin that never tanned was the first sign physically, before Nile noticed the growth of fangs in his son's mouth. From a young age, Hadrian learnt about his blood lust and why he would have to drink blood. How to control his urges and not lose himself to killing. He was taught how to hunt animals, his werewolf traits coming in handy while learning to find animals. And for the most part, his childhood had been great. His parents had never been happier, even talking about another baby on how well Hadrian was growing.
When puberty hit, Hadrian knew something wasn't right with his body. Sure, he expected the teenage changes and hormones, but something else was wrong with him. The slightest thing sent his temper off or annoyed him viciously. He snapped at his mother and father before she realised what was going on with him when it had no relation to how much blood he drank and lack of. Having to talk to Keegan about taking in Hadrian for a short time, how became a new learning curve for the new teen. He had always been aware of Blair being a werewolf and that he had picked up on traits from her. He didn't expect to be told that he was going to shift on the full moon and there was nothing that he could do about it. That he wouldn't be able to control it yet and it would take a few turns to learn how to control himself.
Hadrian found himself heading to Ireland, to stay with his uncle to learn about his wolf, while also keeping it secret from the rest of the family that he was mixed with a vampire, yet alone that Blair married a vampire. Keegan stayed with Hadrian the night of the full moon. Taking him into a forest that was far from any village or town, to make sure no one would see or hear. Keegan only warning him that it was going to hurt before the moon came out. And hurt was an understatement. Hadrian had never felt anything like it as his body started to break apart his skin breaking and tearing as he transformed, with Keegan watching over him to make sure he didn't end up going mad and stayed tame. The next morning, he woke up cold and damp in the forest. Keegan lying not far from him before he felt himself start to break down. Not remembering a thing that happened but the pain at the sight of the full moon, Keegan was there to help him through the next steps. Learning how to remember what happened the night before, following the signs and the scents left behind before the next step was trying to learn how to control his shifts. That although he had no choice but to shift on the full moon, he could be in control of his wolf.
He found himself spending a few years in Ireland, with Blair coming to visit him to check up on him every other month. Although he had found a balance in controlling his wolf, his blood lust was starting to get out of hand again. Though going back home to his mother and father, all he saw was the break up of their once happy marriage. Due to the fact that were a werewolf and a vampire, Hadrian felt stuck in the middle of a situation he never thought or wanted to be trapped within. An argument over species and family heritage. Hadrian knew deep down he was the cause of most of it, the fact he shouldn't have been conceived or even born how he was. He made the choice for his parents, packing up and finally deciding to leave home and find his own path in learn, to stop relying on others and learn his own way through life.
Drifting through life, he started to grow a soft spot for carnivals, all he's trying to do now when visiting them is convincing other members of his family to come visit with him.
