[History]
- Born to a military family, Frank grew up on a army base practically. Going through military school, he met Clara when he was thirteen and she was twelve. Became best of friends, roomies and all sorts. When he was sixteen and she was fifteen, he realised he had the biggest crush on her.
- They grew closer and within a year, started a relationship, even though Frank was going to go into the military and Clara was going to goto college and join the police force.
- Frank proposed on Clara's eighteenth before he went away for basic training. As soon as he was back, they ran away to the nearest church a handful of money and got hitched. For years they tried for children but it never happened, upon testing it was discovered that Clara would never be able to have children and despite options of adoption, they decided not to go through with it and focus on being happy together and their relationship.
- Years gone by with promotions till the Carson brothers came into his life. Challenging and brooding boys, he even surprised himself getting them into shape for the army and over the years grew incredibly close to them, almost becoming a step-father or a adopted uncle to them. Over the years he's collected more, Grady, Bible, Gordo and now Andrew. To him, this became his family that he never got and Clara sees them the same way. Frank is completely content with his life.
- Clara first gets diagnosed with cancer and is treated successfully, unfortunately while he is away and cannot be with her, but he tries his best.
- Dealing with tumours coming back and being away every time she has go through treatment, his only peace is knowing James is with her every time. After the twins are born and she can luckily see an image of their "honorary grandchildren" before she passes and Frank is finally prepared for her passing and knows he can accept it and continue with his life and staying with his boys.
