He tries to bend the rules and break out of constrains put down on him due to his upbringing. He doesn't like at all being told what to do and how to do things. When he's at work, he's a very interpersonal person, he is brilliant when it comes to working with people and getting results. He knows how to satisfy someone. In every way humanly possible.

He's beyond a point of caring about others for the most part. He likes to cut ties with people and move on but that isn't him at all. He just likes to make people think it is. Cormac really is a charming person, he's friendly and loves to have a laugh and a few drinks. He can be loyal to those he deems worth and can be faithful when he thinks it's worth it in the long run.
History.
The eldest of the Carlson brothers, Cormac was the wanted baby. The one his parents wanted and wanted to care for. He was never pushed to the side and actually got to live with his parents instead of being sent to a boarding school as soon as possible. Cormac's childhood growing up in Ireland was fantastic really. His parents were rich and renowned, what more could a child want?
When Cormac actually got to meet his brother Alexander, things didn't go smoothly. Cormac and Alexander were both sent to the same middle school boarding. When the two actually realised they were related things didn't go smoothy. Alexander was jealous and Cormac was confused. The two hardly seemed to get along, they fought and argued a lot of petty things that was often their family matters, they argued over stupid little things that shouldn't matter.
Things didn't get worse for the brothers till Alexander was the first one to move away to university and Cormac was left behind in Ireland wondering what the hell to do with his life. Suddenly his parents attention shifted to their now more successful and richer son. Cormac was crushed.
With brother making a dent in the art world on the West Coast, Cormac finally decided he was going to pack up and move to the East Coast. Moving to the Big Apple, he settled into a world of PR management and found his feet rather quickly. Having the gift of the gab, the ability to impress and talk well, he fit in well and quickly moved up the business world.
But it wasn't good enough. His baby brother, the unwanted baby was now an owner of a gallery, a major connection in the art trade business and making millions of money in days compared to him. His parents didn't want to know him anymore. So Cormac decided to visit his brother and see how he was doing.
His brother had turned his life around to his dismay. The man was happy, had a good career, good financial support and even worse, the man was engaged to a gorgeous guy - Micah. Surely the younger brother was always supposed to look up too and be jealous of the older brother? Staying at Alexander's for a week, he got drunk one night and went too far with his brother's partner. Trying to get Micah to sleep with him to spite Alexander. Of course Micah pushed him away and told Alexander everything. Cormac left before Alexander got home from work. Considering how drunk he was, it was a wonder how he was even allowed to get on the plane.
A year later and Cormac did eventually patch up the bond with his brother. A small drinking problem, a good job and completely alone. It's how he deals with his life. The problem with Cormac though, he could settle. He looks at his brother as a role for that. But he just doesn't think anyone is good enough for him.
